Over the last four years we have been commissioned by Liverpool Culture Company to work on numerous educational packages including the acclaimed It’s Not OK pilot for the Creative Schools Team, as well as the Coming of Age project, which worked with children from the final year of primary school and secondary school pupils to ensure a smooth transition to ‘high’ school for the younger pupils. Coming of Age helped make the children feel relaxed and informed at their new school and it was a chance for them to meet positive role models within the school.

Another Creative Schools commission from Liverpool Culture Company, this was a large multi-arts project in which Culture Inc worked with Network C. The network involved 24 schools (a mix of primary/secondary and special schools). Culture Inc created a group of experienced arts practitioners and artistic directors specially for the project who, over several months, delivered sessions in schools.
This project culminated in two original performances involving elements of multi-media, drama, dance and music. All content was devised with the young people on the theme of the future. This project also involved an element of peer training where secondary school drama students worked with primary school children sharing skills and ideas for their joint performance. |
