hope street apprenticeships 2008

12th May - 8th October 2008

Building on the critically-acclaimed apprenticeship programme of 2007, Hope Street has developed this programme, attracting high-profile artists from the UK and Europe, to run six highly-innovative and experimental pieces of work. This work ranges from a mile-long sound installation, to the creation of designs for a piece of public art, to a large-scale outdoor performance.

The programme is suitable for people with some experience in their respective field, who wish to expand their horizons and learn further applications for their chosen art form.

The projects on the apprenticeship programme this year are Streets Ahead Liverpool, About Another Place, 37, Message from the Flight Path, Market of Optimism and Time.
The programme will also involve initial training and business matters.
